Diana Parker Ceramics is a new affiliate member at Banks Mill and Diana designs and makes porcelain and stoneware ceramics as well as silver and porcelain jewellery in her studio in Belper. Her work is mainly small individual pieces and commissions from small peronslised bowls to wedding favours.
After a fifteen year break Diana is now concentrating on her pottery again having decided to scale down her hours teaching at a secondary school and once she retires in the summer Diana hopes to expand her business and attend many more shows and craft fairs.
Diana's work can currently be found on show at the Opus Gallery in Ashbourne and Saracens Yard Gallery in Brailsford and she also attends the Makers Market's in Uttoxeter. Sue has been approached by Uttoxter Museum when it reopens after it's refurbishment, Diana comments: "I was so pleased to be approached by the Museum and this has encouraged me to pursue other similar outlets which I hope to tell you about soon."
