Alexey Morozov is a vibrant, young fashion designer of Latvian/Russian heritage, with a rich imagination, hard work ethic and creative individuality, that combine to develop a unique and fresh couture style in high fashion design.
In 2014, Alexey graduated the Daugavpils Secondary School of Design and Art (Latvia), where he received the qualification of Interior Design Specialist. During these studies, he concurrently attended sewing courses to expand his knowledge and acquire skills useful for his future. Daugavpils Secondary Art and Design School developed his skills in Painting, Drawing, Art History and Composition.
In 2017, Alexey graduated from The University of Derby with a BA in Fashion Design, winning a coveted Fashane Award. The special commendation award was presented by TV presenter and style guru Gok Wan. Alexey was awarded the special prize at the Fashanne Awards for his tailored cut skirt inspired from the Socialist art theme of the Russian Constructivism during the 1920s – 1950s.
Alexey launched MRZV Atelier last year, a bespoke fashion design, tailoring, and alteration service. The focus is to ensure that each customer is given the attention, time and luxuriousness that MRZV stands for.
