Steph Trethowan Highly Commended

Affiliate member Steph Trethowan has followed on from previous Banks Mill Affiliate member – Zaza Lewis’s success at last year’s Ashbourne Festival Summer Exhibition by being Highly Commended for her painting ‘Seeking Sanctuary’.

Steph was just pipped at the post for first prize by Rachel Carter who won for her wonderful ‘Pilgrim’ sculpture.

The exhibition runs from 20th June to 7th July in the Town Hall Ashbourne. Two other of Steph’s paintings ‘Rooftop Reverie’ and ‘My View is Blocked’ were also selected and are in the exhibition. 

Affiliate member Zaza Lewis is also exhibiting as an invited artist, having won top prize last year.
