Emily Bottomer is a Derby-based contemporary artist working across painting, drawing and sculpture. She graduated from the University of Derby in 2021 and Central Saint Martins in 2025. Her practice explores identity, class, labour and systems of value through abstract, materially driven forms, using repetition and gestural mark-making to investigate tension, control, impurity and resistance.
