Armstrong Agoreyo – Exhibition at Artcore Gallery

Fluid Boundaries, a solo exhibition by Banks Mill tenant contemporary Nigerian artist Armstrong Agoreyo, will be opening at Artcore Gallery this April. Working primarily with drawing and layered paper collage, Agoreyo creates compelling visual narratives that explore questions of identity, consumption, and environmental responsibility. 
 
His practice involves repurposing discarded materials such as magazines and newspapers, transforming them into intricate compositions that carry traces of memory, history, and everyday life. Through this process, the artist reimagines waste as a vessel for storytelling and reflection. The exhibition offers audiences an opportunity to engage with Agoreyo’s distinctive visual language, in which layered surfaces and delicate mark-making invite viewers to consider the shifting boundaries among material, memory, and meaning.
