Donald Mass uses fashion to celebrate his journey from Cameroon to Derby at London Fashion Week
Donald Mass is a Cameroon-born, Derby-based fashion designer and creative entrepreneur working from Studio 3.5 at Banks Mill Studios. He is the founder of TrapMass and TMP — The Main Play, a developing fashion platform combining contemporary streetwear, cultural heritage, identity and storytelling.

Donald’s current creative direction, is called Roots Reimagined – The Cameroon Chapters, exploring his journey between Cameroon and the UK, using fashion to reinterpret heritage through denim, graphic detailing, streetwear silhouettes and cultural references including +237.

In August 2026, Donald presented his work at Africa Fashion Week London, marking an important milestone in the development of TMP and taking work developed from his Derby practice onto a major fashion platform.

Alongside his commercial creative work, Donald has established TrapMass Creative Futures CIC, a community-focused organisation using fashion, creativity and mentoring to create opportunities for young people. Its developing programme includes design workshops, entrepreneurship, confidence building, online safety, safeguarding and positive alternatives to violence.
Donald is continuing to develop new collections and community projects from Banks Mill while working towards further fashion presentations and a major Derby showcase in 2027.
