Freckle Creative Learning

During the May half-term holiday, Lucy from Freckle Creative Learning will be hosting various fun sewing workshops for ages 10+.   Each workshop runs from 10.30am to 12 (midday), with a maximum of 4 participants to allow for lots of support. 

On Tuesday, learn some simple stitches and how to use applique and decorative bits to create a butterfly banner to hang on your bedroom wall. 

Wednesday is all about the Japanese technique called Sashiko – create an upcycled denim key fob with bold sashiko stitches. 

On Thursday, Lucy will teach a beginner’s embroidery hoop design, featuring 3 simple stitches to create a cute succulent picture.

Finally on Friday, learners will make their own personalised banner, featuring their first name initial letter, using applique and simple stitches.
