Molly Christodoulou – Spotlight Award
October 27, 2026
Each year the LEVEL Spotlight Award supports a disabled artist to develop their creative practice and learn more about the process of exhibiting their work.
Molly Christodoulou – Spotlight Award
Molly Christodoulou has been given the Spotlight Award by Level Centre, an arts centre based in the Peak District. This comes with a funded exhibition and as part of developing the work she spent a week on residency inhabiting their art block. Her current work is focused on capturing the feeling of being immersed in woodland, translated through bodily movement. The large studio space allowed her to explore working at a much larger scale and she produced three paintings including a 183x210cm one. Molly says “the week was absolutely transformative, I will now divide my creative life into before and after the residency! Having the freedom and space allowed me to deep dive into my practice and I’ve come out with more confidence, clarity and safe in the knowledge that my instinct to go bigger really fits with my process. I’m so excited to keep working on this collection”. Her Spotlight Award exhibition will run from 28th January until April 2027 and you can read more about it here.
