Olamide Bakare is a multidisciplinary visual artist, photographer, and creative professional with over a decade of experience in producing evocative, narrative-rich imagery. His work spans fine art, portraiture, fashion, landscapes, and architecture, blending technical precision with a deep sensitivity to storytelling and composition.

Beginning his artistic journey as a professional dancer and creative director, Olamide spent 12 years mastering movement, rhythm, and performance—skills that now inform his distinctive photographic style. His practice extends beyond image-making to arts education, having trained over 2,000 photographers through workshops, mentorship programmes, and speaking engagements at Nigeria’s largest photography conference.

Olamide’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at Boomer Gallery in London, Circular ArtSpace, Praxis Gallery in the US, The Banks Mill Studios and The Spark Art & Photography Exhibition. He has been featured in publications such as Vanguard, Punch, and Alternative Culture, and has collaborated with both private and corporate clients. Dedicated to fostering creative engagement and cultural dialogue, Olamide continues to explore the transformative power of visual storytelling to inspire, connect, and provoke thought.
