It’s not every day that you see a whole host of Banks Mill artists in one place, our Open Studios event is probably the only time you could guarantee such a fantastic collection of makers under one roof.  

This September however, our artists are heading out of their studios and into the stunning new Derby Market Hall.  

For one day only, Banks Mill tenants and members will be showcasing and selling their work as part of the Derby Feste celebrations. On Saturday 26 September Derby Feste will be transforming Derby City Centre into a vibrant playground of creativity, where the streets become a stage for a diverse, captivating and spectacular lineup. This year’s event will also extend into the Saturday evening so you can experience Feste after dark! 

Derby Market Hall will be hosting several performances as part of Derby Feste this year. To compliment this schedule of exciting happenings, Banks Mill Studios will be taking over the Market Hall to provide a Creative Market unlike any other.  

The traders will all be Banks Mill members, who as you know, create work of the highest standards and offer unique and handmade products unlike any other. Expect Prints, Illustrations, Fashion, Ceramics, Fine Art as well as creative workshops that will be happening throughout the day with a number of our creatives.  

The event is free to attend so why not make a day of it? Visit our artists and browse the stalls, grab some food from the Market Hall and watch the amazing performances from the Derby Feste line-up – all in one place!
