Do you love nothing more than coming to our Open Studios event to talk to artists, explore their creative spaces and buy unique handmade pieces directly from makers?

Well then, you’re in luck! The new Monthly Makers Market is a grassroots event that has been organised by our enterprising Banks Mill tenants and runs on the first Saturday of every month.

The range of artists taking part will grow and change from month to month, allowing creatives to be flexible but also creating a changing line-up of makers for people to visit each month.  

The first Monthly Makers Market for 2026 is on Saturday 7 February from 10am- 4pm and will continue on the first Saturday of each month thereafter.  

Please be aware that Banks Mill is a Grade II listed building and so unfortunately, disabled access is limited to the ground floor studios only with access via stairs to the rest of the building.

Paid on street parking is available on Bridge Street and Brook Street.

Dubrek Studios next door to Banks Mill will also be open serving refreshments and paninis.

For our March 2026 event we will have printing demonstrations with Green Door Printmaking Studio; mosaic making with Flamingo Glass & Mosaic Art, workshops with the Dancing Potter and live painting demonstrations with Jenny Marshall.
